**Case Update – 27/08/2026**
Having reviewed the Additional Information provided by the applicant in June 2026 alongside the content of subsequent submissions made by parties in response to the matter 1 request made by DPEA on 7 July 2026, the reporters have confirmed that a hearing session is required on the matter of effects on agricultural operations.
The hearing will be held in person at Brechin City Hall on Wednesday, 23 September starting at 09:30. The hearing should take no more than 1 day (on 23 September) but participants are requested to please keep themselves available on Thursday, 24 September should that also be needed.
Members of the public are welcome to attend the hearing sessions to observe proceedings. Please note the proceedings will be webcast and available to view at www.youtube.com/@DPEAScotGov.
